Welcome to this blog...
Greetings,
My name is Fr. Maximos McIntyre, an Orthodox Christian priest residing in New England, serving in the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. I have served in various capacities such as an assistant priest at the parish of Saint John the Russian, rector of Christ the Saviour and Holy Protection mission parishes and as a volunteer chaplain in hospice and nursing home settings. Currently I am on medical leave from fully active ministry but still serve in the area of pastoral care.
The community I served since 2016, Holy Protection mission parish in West, Brookfield, MA, is not conducting Divine Services in my absence. At the direction of His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas, if you were planning on visiting Holy Protection, feel free to visit one of our ROCOR sister churches in the New England area.
Currently, I serve in a private chapel dedicated Saint Luke the Surgeon and Compassionate Healer. Although the chapel is not open to the public, I will be praying an Akathist to Saint Luke the Blessed Surgeon and Healer each week. Feel free to email me with names of those that are infirmed.
My son will be maintaining this blog, uploading articles and homilies from previous years relating to spirituality and psychology. Currently I do not have any social media profiles, but I can be reached at:

All correspondence is private. I am the only person checking this email address.
Much love in Christ,
Fr. Maximos
