Weekly Akathist to St. Luke the Blessed Surgeon, the Compassionate Healer
(Chapel of Saint Luke the Surgeon) Greetings, My name is Fr. Maximos McIntyre, an Orthodox Christian priest residing in New England, serving in the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. I have served in various capacities such as an assistant priest, rector of a mission parish and a volunteer chaplain in hospice and nursing home settings. Currently I am on temporary medical leave from fully active ministry with the hope of returning in the near future. I continue to serve in pastoral care of the faithful, but in a much more limited capacity. My private chapel is dedicated Saint Luke the Surgeon and was finished in 2022. Although the chapel is not open to the public, I will be praying an Akathist to Saint Luke each week for all. Feel free to email me with names of the sick and infirmed. Please pray for me.
